Scripture Union Missions – transforming lives and impacting the schools world

Scripture Union Ghana has been in the business of making disciples for Christ with students. In the past year we conducted a number of mission programmes across the country. In each school that we visited scores of young people came to faith in Christ.

In one Senior High School we reached out to 2,500 students where 280 young people made a decision to follow Jesus Christ for the first time. Each of these students had a story to tell.

One student shared how she encountered Christ during the programme. She said, “I have always gone to church with my parents since I was a child but never recognised Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal saviour. On Saturday during the service, I was touched and responded to the altar call. That was where I received Christ as my personal saviour. I was also a sex addict and when I went for counselling I was guided and now believe that I am a child of God. I thank God Almighty for saving me and forgiving my sins... I feel at peace right now. God bless SU.”

The story continues from school to school... Scripture Union is impacting the lives of young people one at a time. The harvest is indeed ripe!
