Description & Opportunities for involvement: 

God is transforming the lives of thousands and thousands of children and young people through the ministry of Scripture Union, all around the world, and this is a story that needs to be told! We’re looking for help to get the story of Scripture Union out there and we would like to encourage more people to engage with us and go on to join and support the work of SUI both in prayer and financially.

There are 2 main projects:
A new SUI video:

* This is an opportunity to help us collate, edit and compile new and historic footage for a 2-3 minute promotional video for SUI. Building on an earlier version made several years ago, this film will showcase the ministry of Scripture Union worldwide, including a brief history of Scripture Union as well as highlighting the supporting ministry of SUI.

Effective marketing on social media:

* This is a chance to enhance the profile and awareness of SUI and also increase engagement on social media, in order to raise financial and practical support. This work will include social media planning and marketing, enabling our posts and social media content to reach their potential.
Working in partnership with the SUI Communications Consultant, the intern should have good digital editing skills and competence in using supporting Ai.

The successful candidate will also have a broad understanding of social media marketing and be able to identify the right tools for enhanced audience and stakeholder engagement, as well as attracting new audiences.

Some knowledge of Scripture Union and its work would be an advantage.

Skills to contribute: 
• Digital editing, research, visual storytelling and media production.
• Social media marketing understanding and skills.

Time required:  An initial project could involve 3-4 weeks work spread across up to 4 months – all open to discussion with the SU Communications team on a project to project basis
