Prayer is a vital part of the life of Scripture Union and our desire to help people of all ages meet God through the Bible and prayer is part of our aim.

Global Week of Prayer

Our Global Week of Prayer is an annual event when we join together to pray for the ministry of Scripture Union around the world.

In 2025, the Global Week of Prayer was held 3-8 November and was called 'On Christ the Solid Rock we Stand' based on the book of 1 Peter. Each day we reflected on the themes of a having a living hope in Salvation, in a Living Stone, in Victory , in Surrender and in Restoration as we came together in prayer rooms to pray in multiple languages!

On 14 March 2026 we will hold a Global Children’s Day of Prayer. More details will follow.
